Listed below are the courses I instruct at Hutchison High School, as well as, a documents/files related to those courses.
Spanish Level 1
Spanish I is a two semester course available to students from grade 9-12 at Hutch. It is designed to support and encourage students interested in learning the Spanish Language. At the end of the course, students should be Novice Mid to Novice High according to the Oral Proficiency Interview description.
Students will have opportunities to practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening to Spanish through a variety of methods including Total Physical Response to Story Telling, basic conversation practice, and role playing in class.

Spanish Level 2
Spanish II is a two semester course available to students from grade 9-12 at Hutch. It has a prerequisite of Spanish level one. It is designed to support and encourage students interested in learning the Spanish Language. At the end of the course, students should be at least Novice High according to the Oral Proficiency Interview description.
Students will practice and build on the skills learned in their first year of Spanish class as well as delve into deeper cultural knowledge and learning about post secondary opportunities to continue their foreign language education.

Physical Education
Health and physical fitness cannot occur without physical effort and activity. PE is a participation-based class. The goal for this class is to make being physically fit part of a daily routine and to enhance students' understanding of the value of being "in shape".
